I tried to close this place once. It wasn't in the cards. I started a livejournal, but at first it was only for a friend. Of course I wanted to get away from some of what was written here, but I think some part of me believed that I could reconcile with this diary. It can't be done. I don't want to delete this place: there are entries from years past that perhaps I might read sometime. But of course there is also almost no one in the Diaryland community who I ever speak with. Or, in fact, no one. So this is it. Go read incanitch at livejoural.com if you want to read the occasional trivial paragraph. Don't worry, I don't update that frequently.

Goodbye, Diaryland. You served me well for three whole years, and I thank you for that. Life has changed, though. It is time to go our separate ways once and for all. Fair you well.
